Race Matters: Where Do We Fit In?

Saturday, October 26, 2 p.m.

Christian nationalism and white supremacy are issues that plague our collective consciousness, and are also matters of the heart and soul. The topic can be explosive and divisive, yet there are opportunities for growth and unity. Where do we each fit in individually and as a church community? Join us as we continue to explore how we might continue to move ourselves, our families, our communities, and our nation towards a more just and equitable society. Pastor Darryl! Moch, pastor of UCC of Fredericksburg and LRUCC’s Antiracism Ministry consultant, will lead the program which includes a video from the Great Courses series How to Talk About Race: Finding where you fit into the Race Dialogue. The workshop and discussion will be held at Little River in the sanctuary and social hall. Join in-person or via Zoom: bit.ly/LR-RaceMatters. Those who join online will not be able to participate in small group discussion, but are invited to enjoy the presentation portion of the workshop.
